CHARICE PEMPENGCO
Truly, Charice's popularity and stardom is unstoppable. She has ben through a lot of setbacks and struggles yet she managed to take at it though as it were challenges. With a passion that fanned her burning desire to achieve her dreams plus the hardwork, and the support of her mother, the once farfetched mirage has finally became within her reach.
Can I just say that Charice is so bongga?
I'm not making up stories her okay but her first appearance on MTB ( a local noontime show in the Philippines) was not the first time I saw her. I even witnessed her singing prowess and vocal abilities LIVE on a school program when she sang "dakilang lahi" by Ciara Sotto. Charice was a special guest and I was one of the student performers. She was really young then but as what Ellen and Oprah were trying to fathom, you would really think how in the world did that small body obtain such strong and powerful voice?
I knew then that her talent will really get her somewhere and I was not mistaken. My mom and I where rooting for her on the TV shows especially on "Little Big Star". We were even SOOOOO disappointed when she only ended up third during the grand finals.
Anyway, just I've mentioned, good thing Charice didn't give up her dreams. I was right about her voice getting her somewhere..I mean internationally. I just watched her life story at MMK last night and I was so touched. I am so proud of her being a Filipino and a home-grown Santa Rosa Teen.
Keep it up!
P.S. the reason why I was so touched during the MMK is because of the scene where Charice changed the word "man" to "mom" in the song: And I am telling you I'm not going. That is just so sweeet!
I didn't know that Falsevoice (the person behind Charice's youtube vids) is a male. Good Job, bro!
