The Road to Success is not straight: There is a curve called failure, a loop called confusion, speed bumps called friends, caution lights called family, and you will have flats called jobs. But, if you have a spare called determination, an engine called perseverance, insurance called faith, and a driver called God, you will make it to a place called success!

TYPHOID AIN'T EASY

Typhoid fever is an acute illness associated with fever caused by the Salmonella typhi bacteria. It can also be caused by Salmonella paratyphi, a related bacterium that usually causes a less severe illness. The bacteria are deposited in water or food by a human carrier and are then spread to other people in the area.

APRIL 23, 2010; 10:00 PM MANILA TIME-My body's sweating after having a dream. Though it wasn't a nightmare, I can tell that it was vivid and it made me rouse from a very light sleep. My head experienced an excruciating sensation as if a steamroller is running on both sides, trying to flatten out my head's surface. I thought it was my depression that causes it. I'm so nauseous, exhausted, and so hopeless.

I rushed to the restroom to throw up. After some minutes of such ordeal, my mother noticed it and tried to help me with whatever she could extend just to somehow ease my suffering. She caressed my head, put some ointment on it; for some hope that the torturing pain in my head would cease. Prior to this nightmare, I've been having an on and off fever for the past 4 days. 2 days prior, I have already consulted a doctor via OPD and was diagnosed with acute rhinitis. I was given oral medicines and was sent home.

On that night, such meds wouldn't work anymore. Anything that I ingest would surely be catapulted to the toilet bowl. After those painful hours and countless times of vomiting, my mother decided to take me to the hospital.

APRIL 24, 2010; 6:00 AM MANILA TIME-I was lying at the bed at the emergency room. I was already at the hospital, I thought. The process was tedious and prolonging. Thank God I have my health card with me as I won't pay for anything (I thought!). Doctors interrogate me as if I am some sort of a thief or whatever. Nurses come and go to check my temperature. After such question and answer portion and temperature check of 40° C, they figured out that I am suffering from Typhoid Fever.

The dextrose was put in and I was sent to my regular Private room. Doctors and nurses still come and go to check my progress. People who knew my situation extended their regards and let me know that they have prayed for me. Some relatives, friends, and office mates took time to visit. After 5 days of confinement, I was finally discharged. After those 5 agonizing days of medication, I became stable and the illness went off. Whether they have detected where I have gotten the disease or not, I don't care. As long as God, the Jehovah Rappa who healeth thee took care of my disease I am fine. I will just be careful with what I eat and drink from now on.

The Doctor who handled my case documented that I am fit to work on Tuesday, May 4th. I still have time to recuperate and rest. I can't wait for that day!

I'M BACK!!!

Blog hibernation was never a part of my vocabulary during my active days on blogging. I even considered this already as my part time job in which I wake up early in the morning to create posts for financial benefits then proceed with my full time job in the afternoon. That was a very blissful moment for me until recently, Google had ousted me for their suspicions of click fraud then all other sites that I benefit from had gone. I never imagined that the recession would sweep almost everything and I admit that blogging has no longer become a part of my system. But I just have thought of the comments expressing their appreciation on the posts I have created and for those people who always visit my blog to check if there are recent updates. I have decided to come back but of course, I cannot promise an everyday post. Maybe two for a week would perhaps suffice. I thank you all for your continuous support!

PS Ron, if you are reading this right now, I lost my phone last night and I don't have any means of communication yet. I'll get back to you and Diane marse if I got a new one. =)

ALL SAINT'S DAY

This is the month again where I get to visit someone's grave. We haven't been visiting our father for the past 12 years. By the way he's dead for almost 20 years so if you ask me if I have a clear picture of what my father is well I'm sorry to say that I don't. I have pictures though. This time it is my Lola's (grandma's ) grave that we visited. It's still so surreal that she's no longer with us. Well, I know for sure that she's no longer a limp there. See you there!

List of CPAs 2008

Whew! At long last, the days of agony and sleepless nights are over. The CPA licensure examination has concluded and the results have been released. I am so glad that some of my colleagues and classmates have been able to surpass this mind exhausting and challenging board exam (which many considered as one of the hardest licensure exams ever)

To Dave, congratulations! You have given inspiration to others (like me) who also aspire to become CPAs even if they aren't a part of the "Ivy League". Gosh, forgive my cheesiness dude. I just wanna greet you haha!

For further reference, here are the list of the successful CPA passers of 2008.

WHEW!

Now, it's really confirmed that my memory card g0t corrupted... before that, I was wondering why my pictures are shown and the music files are stored on my phone. After removing my memory card (properly) from the phone and inserting it again, it no longer worked and my fears had been confirmed. Good thing that I was able to attach the pic files first on my email. :)

100th

I would like to say that my post titled "BEST WEB HOSTING" is my 100th post in this blog. Just wanna greet myself...HAHAHAHAHA! woohoo!

ADSENSE SOUVENIR

Just a few days ago, my mom told me that she was handed by the postman a letter. She gave me the letter (and of course, like any other peeps, I was excited and a bit curious about it). When I looked at it, the excitement got lost and the curiosity satiated. It was from Adsense. Someone would react, "hey, you should be happy! Adsense had sent you your most awaiting pin in order to receive your most awaited $100!". Well, that's the bad news. Adsense already put a ban on my blog and pulled up all their ads. They said that I made illegal clicks on my own ads.

sheesh. Maybe I'll just keep this one as a souvenir, no bitterness taken. Haha!

DEATH CERTIFICATE MUSINGS

My sister in law's mom had just passed away a few weeks ago due to aneurysm. As much as she wanted to hide the sorrow, it seems that the pain is unbearable as it happened as subtle and as unexpected. Another thing that added up to her burden was they can't bury her mom easily as the death certificate wasn't easily processed. A death certificate is required to obtain burial permits. Anyway, many people think that a death certificate is not an important document. Well friends, it is. In the US and UK, it serves as a public document and can be obtained by any people regardless of their relationship to the deceased. For example, deathcertificatesearch.org has a vast database of death records in the United States. Whatever you want to search there regarding death certificates and records, you will surely find it. For more information, proceed here.

MEDICAL ALARM

My grandmother, when she was alive, cannot help herself. Her right leg got severely injured when she accidentally tipped from the cable of the electric fan. The bad thing is none of my relatives noticed it immediately. Her condition never changed until the day she died. Doctors say that it's impossible to perform a surgery because of her age. I remember her agony and it only makes me very very sad. She just died last April and I literally cried when the Grandparent's day was celebrated last Sunday.

How I wish there was like a medical alarm during that time. My grandma was a very energetic and outgoing person. When she was alive she wants to go anywhere and she likes to visit some relatives. Since the accident happened, she became depressed and a day will not end without her, complaining about her misery. On our end, we did our best to cheer her up but nothing worked.

I guess the only thing that we regret is that we should have helped her avoid the accident but of course, everything happens for a reason. However, technology has enabled our elderly folks to avoid such accidents or notify us immediately about such. Based on my internet research, I saw two techie products: The Medical Alarm and the GPS tracker. The former works to notify us that someone had fallen and didn't have enough strength to push a button. (because some elderly people use buttons to call the attention of the people in the house.) The latter works for people are wandering especially those who are suffering from Alzheimer.

Hey grandma, I know that you're very very happy now there in heaven and I am sure that your right leg is no more aching. I miss you!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I just got so busy these days that I can't allot enough time for my blogging business. My work schedule changed and I admit that the transition was not easy. Everyday I have to wake up early for my tutorial class and proceed to my full time job afterwards. Going home is not a joke as you should be mindful of snatchers that might slash all your belongings. However, life seems to be normal and I'm coping with it.

Good thing there are good friends who help you along the way. They might not be always there but you have the assurance of their support. Yesterday, I was having a problem regarding the deadline of my assignment and I was just so happy that my dear friend lent me her laptop despite her frequent usage of it.

Dear Kristen, thanks a lot. I am now coming up with thank you gifts to express my appreciation. haha!

IMPORTANCE OF WEB HOSTING

As I have promised, I made this in continuation with my previous post about understanding web hosting. So, just a quick review, web hosting is the physical storage of files like hard disks on computers where huge files can be placed. Web hosting companies provide servers in which data are stored and smooth connectivity to the internet is guaranteed.

Then why the heck it's very important to businesses? Well, that is a question We will tackle now.

There are so many things why web hosting is important to businesses. The first thing is that people tend to rely on the internet regarding convenience. When you have a website for your business, it will be easy for you to post your products. It looks like you have an online shop where customers can select what they like. It is also very convenient because your business operates 24/7. You can also accept payments off line via Paypal or credit cards.

Web hosting varies from prices to security. One thing you have to be careful though, you need to select a safe and trusted web hosting provider. If your website is slow in loading or it is not user friendly, you might give the customer a bad impression which makes them not go back to your site anymore. If you deal with money on your website, you should select a dedicated server in order to avoid mess on your transactions.

CREDIT CARD APPLICATION

There are things you need to consider when applying to have credit cards. Of course, you need to take a look at your credit rating. The better rating, the better chances of acquiring the best credit card option. You also need to consider that when applying, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are okay and good to go. The authority to issue all credit cards simultaneously rests with the issuer(The bank or the financial institution), who will first ensure whether you have a reliable financial background and you are in good faith.

You should also compare different features the credit card options have: fluctuating interest rates, Annual Percentage Rates (APR s),credit limits, fees associated, penalties, billing cycles, grace periods, specs for cash advances and balance transfers, rewards, and other implied costs. If I were to choose, I would rather go for a low interest credit card.

You also need to choose a card that best suits you. You may select from personal credit cards to business credit cards. You also need to be careful so you could get the best card option.

Finding it hard to decide? Not a problem! comparecards.com can surely assist you in choosing the card that suits your need. Aside from credit cards, they also list the best pre-paid debit cards available for your convenience.

UNFORTUNATE EVE

I was once asked what is the essence of being a gay and I've only said one thing: "Population Control". In my own opinion, it is correct. God is just sooo wise that he didn't made it as early as this. Enjoy viewing guys!!!!

LUCKY YOU!

I like Eric Bana. I might have not watched all of his movies (I just actually watched one, and it's incredible hulk) but his acting style is considerably one of the best among Hollywood male celebrities.

One of his movies that I wish I had watched on a wide screen was "Lucky you". The film was about a guy (Eric Bana who plays Huck Cheever) who is very skillful as a Poker player but fails to translate his talent into his love life attempts to win the World Series of Poker while earning the love of a Las Vegas singer, Billie Offer (Drew Barrymore). There is one obstacle though as his rival on the game is his father (Robart Duvall), the poker legend who left them years ago.

I wonder if the thrill is the same if they play the game on the internet. Will Huck feel the same tension? Will the prize be bigger? Lucky us! Flipturnriver.com gives us a wonderful shot on the hottest Poker games around the net. Get reviews from the best Poker sites like Pokerstars and Full tilt. Get the nicest Pokerstars Marketing Code when you register and also avail of the Pokerstars Bonus Code when you deposit. Also get 100% up to $600 bonus from Full Tilt Referral Code. click here to be the next "Lucky you".

FULFILLING FULFILLMENT

Tracking the orders for the item has never been easy. It is okay if customers will just ask about the tracking information but once they can not locate their item, that's how the waterloo starts. You need to consider multiple factors in locating the item. First, you need to check the record for the fulfillment date of the order. (Fulfillment stage is where the customer has already paid for the order and the item/s will be ready to be shipped out from the seller's warehouse.). You also need to check how many days will the item will be shipped out through the order fulfillment section. These ship out process usually happens within the business days so you have to check your calendar for such.

Obviously, you also need to check the carriers of the item. It can be through USPS, FedEx, UPS, UPSMI, and FedEx Smart post (and DHL sometimes). then you can check if the item is still on its way or if it has already been delivered. If it had already passed the delivery date, you still have to check the "buffer zones" or the days allowed for late delivery. If it also had passed the buffer zones, then the item might have been lost in transit.

Good thing that amsfulfillment.com came into picture. It is a 3rd party product fulfillment services company. They both cater to business to business and business to customer needs. AMS fulfillment services also include the technological advances and tools that would surely make sure the fulfillment process easy and efficient. No worry, hassle free. Click here to find out more.

SALON DU CHALFONT

I heard that Chalfont is one of the nicest places that you must visit in Pennsylvania...Here are the famous landmarks you might want to check when you happen to pass by at their place.

Borough building

???

Yup, you're seeing it right! Tony D's Hairstyling is a one Helluva package. It is a hair salon chalont that offers a wide variety of hair services for both sexes. Aside from the hair services, they also provide spas that you would surely indulge. Imagine yourself being pampered to the highest extent with their full service salon chalfont.

Another thing that makes it interesting are the products that they offer. The hair salon chalont color, also known as the organic hair color gives you your hair's natural glow and shine for the color of your choice. Since it is organic, you could be assured that there are no chemicals and other substances added that might damage your hair.

With the hair services, spas, and wonderful products, what more could you wish for? What more should you expect? Just do the math and click here if you want to find out more.

CRIBS AND LUGGAGES

I just purchased a copy of a Showbiz magazine whereas the famous Filipino celebrities' cribs were featured. Well, taking the fact that they're rich and famous, you should expect that their pads are as gorgeous and stylish as far as your imagination will take you. My favorite then was Ricky Reyes's.

Aside from the fabulous interiors, the celebrities also showcased their prized possessions. One that I remember was Heart Evangelista's set of Designer luggage bags. It was all Louis Vuitton. How I wish could strut at the famous Italian streets with all those fantastic luggage bags!

I'd rather take my chances here at villageluggageandgifts.com. You can really find all over a hundred or even thousand designs to choose from. Aside from going to a luggage store, you might want to click here and see it for yourself.

CREDIT REPAIR SERVICES

I had experienced working as a Customer service representative in a Credit Card Company and to tell you, it is not a joke. Everyday the queues never end, hearing the usual complaints and rants from the customers. There are times that they cuss directly at you which only adds up to the stress especially if you can't help them nor the supervisors with their concerns.

Well, sometimes I can't blame them if they pour their angst and desperation to us. Credit is such an important thing in the United States. It is a matter of life and death when their credit gets messed up. I encountered calls where the customer ended up wailing because he has no place to go and a woman was begging me to offer her a credit repair. What can I do? What even the heck is a credit repair? It is always said that customers should be responsible with their account but what if there are inaccurate reports? Those concerns were no longer within my capability as a front line representative so I transferred them (which made them more mad and anxious) to another department and I'm wondering what happened next.

Until it came to my knowledge that there was such a thing as Credit Repair Services. These are firms to help of course, repair credit. They get the credit scores from the 3 credit bureaus (Transunion, Experian, and Equifax), Review them, and file a dispute if there are discrepancies. They act in accordance with the Federal Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

I am glad to know that Customers are given hope by this Bad Credit Repair. As I have said, it is not a joke. The credit recovery period is 7 years and I myself, if were in that situation would not want to wait that long.

repairyourbadcredit.com is a credit repair service that helps through the internet. Very convenient, less hassle. Click here to check it out.

LIfe at the mountain....

It has been eight years since I was selected as one of the lucky few to enter the Philippine High School for the Arts. Of course, as the name says, the institution is aimed to hone the selected students' skill in their particular Art Major. Like me, my Major is Visual Arts. The school is located at one of the peaks of Mt. Makiling. Obviously, our place is quite secluded and high. The view was very nice.

Since we are on a mountain, the only time we can go to our homes is during weekends. Dormitories and food were provided for our stay. I can say that living on the mountain is a different experience especially if you came from an urban area. You listen to the tune of the cicadas roaming around the trees outside your room, you hear the giant lizard's grunts to signal that a rain is approaching, and you also share spooky stories with your roommates in the glow of the lamps during midnight.

Speaking of lamps, each and every student has a unique one. We were required to use it (just in case we still have something to do) because lights shut off at exactly 10.00 PM. Mine was a simple desk lamp, enough to cover my whole study table. Others almost looked like floor lamps because of their humungous sizes. If there is something that would come first to my mind when I speak of my stay at the mountain, It would be the lamps.

Anyway, if you are looking for different sorts of lamps-may it be a classic or modern one, you might wanna check Farreys.com.
