The Road to Success is not straight: There is a curve called failure, a loop called confusion, speed bumps called friends, caution lights called family, and you will have flats called jobs. But, if you have a spare called determination, an engine called perseverance, insurance called faith, and a driver called God, you will make it to a place called success!

JOGGING

No one is in the house and I've forgotten my spare key so I just told myself why waste my time outside the house when I can check my stuff at the internet. So I went to the internet shop and I browsed my previous messages especially those that I had never opened before and this is what I found and I thought this will be great if i'll share it with you guys. This is a funny video that I received through email way way ago. It's a commercial from somewhere else i just dunno where but it's really hilarious. This really proves that never underestimate the power of marketing. Do watch it!

MR. MEDRANO: IN MEMORIAM

I was already at the jeepney after buying some stuff at SM santa rosa when I have received an SMS message. Our professor is already dead. It was sent to me by my friend who is the secretary of the Graduate school at SPCBA.

The professor I'm pertaining to is Mr Antonio Medrano. He teaches mostly on BS business Management Students at San Pedro College of Business Administration. I used to call him "prayle" because of his "Noli-me-Tangere-ish" features. You can mistakenly identify him as a rector of some sort.

Me and Sir Medz (as most students call him) became close when a certain misunderstanding occurred at the school. He really portrayed himself as very strong person who stands on what he really believes despite the threats and adversities he is facing.

I will truly miss you sir medz!

"I WILL REMEMBER YOU"

I've already handled multitude of calls for the past months that i've been working as call center agent. There are a few that are worth remembering and there are a few as well that you wished you haven't received it. There are funny ones and there are ones that made you go berserk and destroy your whole day. But one call that I won't really forget is a call from an ordinary elderly woman. This really marked my life at the call center industry and I'll take it for the rest of my life.

I had her queue at the middle of the shift. I verified her information and everything's fine. But in the middle of our conversation she's already saying some things that somehow did not correspond with the information that I have on my computer. I checked first her account just to make sure that there might be a little bit of error and I probed hard. When something's not really working out, I told her the truth and she pleaded me some of the details-she might have just forgotten that she incurred such transactions.

She cried so hard when she found out all these and told me that she did not. Everything's screwed up. Someone has stolen her identity and did all the transactions fraudulently. Technically, her concern is so easy... I'll just be filing something on my end for her to incur zero liability for fraud charges and that's it however emotionally you can sense that the lady is so broke.

I almost fell off my chair when she told me her situation. SHE'S ON A WHEELCHAIR. She is only taken care of by her nanny who's not really someone related to her. She really knows that her nanny made those fraudulent transactions since that is not the first time she did it to her. She almost treated this girl as her daughter and she loves her so much.

She made the decision to report her nanny to the police. She's telling me this while in tears. I can really tell how she's so hurt to do so however she had no options. I just comforted her that what she did is just right and the best expression of love for that person is to teach her something that will make her a better person, it may not be know but who knows. I also told her that God is always good and help is always there whenever she seeks for it. The reason why this call made an impact on me is that she appreciated the help that I was able to provide her, the advices that I said and the love that she somehow sensed on me. I was touched by this and it did not end there. the phrase that almost made me cry was:

"I will remember you for all the rest of my life here"

Now, I no longer recall her name. We are in a paperless company. but one thing is certain, I will also remember her.

HOLLA!

Oh my... days and days has passed after the new year and I haven't updated my blog. I know guys that I owe you this and I do apologize for the non-responsibility of making these things just to entertain you. I know that it's been a while however the saying still proves right that it's better late than never.

ahem ahem, first of all I do wanna greet you a very very happy new year (i know, i know, it's the 19th already) I do wish you all good luck despite of the predictions of our clairvoyants that this year is not a so so good to have.

Many things has happened during the past days after the new year. Well, as I am looking at my pathetic blog it's been before christmas since I have made an entry. I just want you to know that my dearest cousin celebrated her union with her hubby and as a proof, here's a little (not so...) souvenir that was given to me haha...

The picture was taken per batch.. the immediate (hmmm not really.. hehehe) family of the wife and then the groom. This is a special one though because this is for the JOMOBAS, a group of different kids on the block-and a kid at heart. hahaha. Noticed my newly straightened hair? wahahaha!

I did celebrate the new year by lying on the "Papag", hugging my pillow and snoozing gently amidst the blasts and fire cracks outside our pad. (as in yellow pad) That's what really happens to those who have their terrible shift at the new year's eve. Gosh, i loved the shirt that i bought just for the occasion.

***
going back to work... it's not really a good start. I started to feel neck pains associated with severe dizziness. My sup sent me to Makati Medical Center and thanks to God and medicard, I was able to have a consultation at no charge.(they usually take a thousand pesos for the check-up). Lots of tests and chorvalin garvansos were administered on me. huhuhu.. the first one is the terrible Intravenous thing. The doctor told me that it is the easiest way they can put the anti-dizziness drug inside my body. Every one at the emergency room was laughing as I shut my eyes just to avoid a glimpse of this terrifying thing inserted in my hand. and poof! it became kokocrunch! It really hurt!

Imagine this is being pricked on you.... and the worst thing is that it stayed for the whole check-up so I really have to be careful at my moves!!!! Remembering those days really stresses me. Good thing the doctors are really really HOT!

After that I had ECG and X-ray. After so many hours of waiting. The results were retrieved and they found something at my neck. I dunno what's that. It says that I have cervical strain....whatever. after that I went home.

So, I'll look forward to seeing you guys again at my mini blog. hahaha. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR VISITING!
